Wasps have their place in the garden, but they can cause problems in the apiary. What can beekeepers do?
Wasps seem to be more of a problem in the South East of England this year and the National Bee Unit has put out an Advice Note.

T&TVBKA Member Alice spotted the WASPINATOR - a most unusual looking device: http://www.waspinator.co.uk/ which has had good reviews in the press: Telegraph.co.uk review It is a nice idea in that there is no need to kill the wasps, it just scares them away. If anyone has a Waspinator, please tell us how you've got on with it.
